This contest will address the hot topic of cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, blockchain, smart contracts, initial coin offerings, and all that.

The rules are simple: there are a set of questions opening and resolving between September 15 and December 1, 2017 in the category "Contests – Cryptocurrency 2017." The contest ranking is based on the total Metaculus points earned on those questions. (If you are new to Metaculus, be sure to check out how scoring works on the FAQ.)

To add to the fun, the top point-earner will be awarded 1 ETH (~$330, with current value here); the 2nd place winner will be awarded 1 LTC (~$80, with current value here).

(To be eligible for prizes, contestants must be able to provide their full name and address upon winning. No more than one account is allowed per contestant. Metaculus staff and their families are not eligible.)
